So. Thinking a bout a new to me TV.

Only in the thinkin stage so far. DW says go for it. My TV is 13 years old, and in really good shape. 77k. But is getting old.

So found a 2013 F150 SuperCab with the 5.0, AND 3.73 rears with 37000 miles. The ONLY truck I have found with 3.73 rears. It also has the 7350lb GVWR package. Brake controller. In truth the only things it don't have I would like, is a rear view camera, and a floor shifter.

According tom the Ford towing guide. It has 9300lb towing capacity.
TT it will tow is in the 6000lb loaded ready to camp range. Depending on where it is going.

    That's what I was thinking.

The 5.0L is a good motor, but I have heard nothing but good things about the 3.7L EB motor. Tons of torque all the way through the RPM range.
  • Good truck for that trailer. I think you'll be very impressed by the 6 speed transmission. If you're looking for just a rear view camera to hitch up with, consider just getting the iBall or equivalent magnetic mount. Otherwise, it's pretty easy to install (or get installed) a rear view camera these days. Enjoy!.
  • my buddy has the same truck and loves it, he now has over 50k miles and it has been trouble free for him.

  • I drive a 2012 F-150 Supercab 4x4 XLT for my work truck and it is a great truck. It has the 3.7L V6 and has decent power and gets fantastic fuel mileage. It is still solid as the day I picked it up new, and I wouldn't hesitate to buy one for my own vehicle if we didn't have such a large RV. We also have several F-150's with the 5.0L at work and they have been flawless (I would prefer the 5.0L over the V6). If the truck is in good shape I say go for it; you will love it!
  • You'll be duly impressed with the 5.0 and 6 speed......plus 3.73s!
