We've had ours out in the desert when the wind has gotten up to 35-40+ and while the wind is loud (it would be in any RV) there has been no flapping or tent-like sounds. Our canvas windows seal well and inside the camper was relatively toasty. All of that said --- I hate trying to camp in the wind.
