Thanks Don- I have appreciated all your posts here on solar. I have learned a lot, and is assisting me a great deal in my design.
I see 2 options for me on achieving the 5% tilt (in storage the trailer is nose high so not an issue, this I guess is more for when camping).
(1) the roof slopes side to side (vs front to back like 5er), I could mount the panel on one side using the natural slop of the roof- but then I would probably need another panel (which is in my long term plan once I install an inverter)
(2) Can I mount the panel flat side to side, but angled with the back up 5%?
What other options might I be missing - how do other achieve?
I really don't want to get into a movable tilt design as it isn't easy to get up on the roof while camping.
