I have UniSolar flexible panels on my TC Support rig, "The Shotwagon" (the trailer in my sig pic).
The amount of solar you need is directly related to how much of a power hog you are. In my case, I'm a huge power hog. I have 600w of solar going through a Morning Star MPPT controller. That in turn feeds eleven 145Ah AGM batteries. Those then go through 2 inverters, a Xantrex 1800PSW in the trailer, and a Magnum Hybrid 3Kw in the TC..... I'd like more solar. With the 3kw Magnum inverter, I can run my roof air, and have, for an entire day, and solar did a great job in keeping up in between the AC's duty cycles--so it is possible to run a roof air off solar.
Since your zip says you're also here in WWa, you need to take into account our angle to the sun vs. watt loss - you will never see a true 100 watts of solar out of a 100w solar panels here.
Depending on where you are here, if you're nearby I'd be happy to show you the set up I have.
