I have not found the reason. When I turn the lights on, the goofy blue lights in the speakers come on, and about every 4th or 5th led lights up dimly. The lights were fine before the washing, and would not work a week later when I tried them.
I spayed the bottom side of the awning with Tilex, rolled it up for an hour, then hosed it down with a normal hose nozzle. I'm assuming the water got somewhere it should not have.
I don't think they will be hard to replace, I think they will just slide out of the track, I've just got to find some that will fit back in.
My wife likes the cute awning lights, but I sure enjoy the convenience of them always being there to turn on when loading or setting up after dark, and being able to roll up the awning for storms without having to take them down.
