Some pics from Spring Mill State Park in Indiana

This one of the best State Parks we have been. They use the land to it's full potential. I thought this was one of the bigger parks but turned out to be one of the smallest. Most State parkks don't have water hookups. To our surprise, our site had a water hookup but we were full in the tank. Refilled the tank at the end of the trip for one last round of showers and such.

  • We stayed at Prophetstown in Lafayette Indiana and had a similar, pleasant surprise. It was a state park with FULL hookups. I had never seen that before. It was the cleanest and most well laid out state park campgrounds I have every stayed in. I'm so used to Illinois where they buy up land and then don't let you use it. Way to go Indiana.

  • Wow, looks like an awesome park and great campsites!
Love the 26BH or maybe I just have a soft spot for Jayco's lol
  • Spring Mill is a very nice park. We are lucky in Indiana to have a very nice state park system. It's too bad you have to beat your trailer apart on our crappy interstates to get there.
  • This does look like a nice place to stay. It is nice to see green. Looks like there are a lot of things to see. Our state parks if they are open sure don't look like this. JMO
  • Great pictures, looks like a nice park. I only have one question.
What is that green stuff that's all over the ground? We only have dirt and gravel in southern California. :B
