I think you will find that the only difference is the springs and the spacer blocks for the springs. The 350 sits higher and will not go in many 7 foot garage doors. I bought a 250 and added air bags giving me a lower truck with the ability to carry more weight. The weight police will point to the sticker, but it is only a sticker.
If you really believe that I have some magic beans for sale and a pair of ruby shoes that I think would look great on you.
Just what part do you have difficulty understanding? Please send the beans and shoes. Thanks.
Irritating. People come on here and have no idea what they are talking about, yet want to put the 2 cents in.
The F250 & F350 are NEARLY the identical truck. The F350 has OVERLOAD springs which do nothing unless you add enough weight to compress the regular springs down enough for the overload springs to make contact with the stoppers. Go back to the dealer and look under the two different trucks and compare and you will see what I'm talking about. The F350 has taller blocks under the springs and makes the truck sit higher.
The F350 needs about 6'9" of clearance to get into most parking garages. 7' is ideal.
I would opt for the F350. It gives you the capacity if you need it and doesn't hurt a thing (except a little bit extra ride height) if you don't need it.
Now take your beans and ruby shoe stupid comment and go away.
