I guess in TX and MN the persecution against trucks is not as prevalent as it is on the east coast. There are many areas even out here in the boonies where signs are posted " NO trucks over 3/4 ton" Maybe the infrastructure can't handle a load, who knows. I'm not going out in the rain to take a picture to prove it to you. I really don't care what you think about the whole thing. Heck, I know of fancy neighborhoods on the mainland that don't allow ANY trucks to be parked in them except service trucks in the daytime hours..
Now to insurance. If you search this forum you will find multiple reports of insurance companies not wanting to write one tons, or having higher rates.
