You might want to check on your Homeowner Policy and see if you can get contents covered through that. Being that it was stored at another location may put the skids to that, but worth a try. So sorry.
We have friends that had an accident that totaled their 5er...it was bought used and they ended up with more than they paid for it by a long shot, so maybe there's hope. Before you settle with insurance, be sure to look online at NADA for pricing and also do some online homework to see what a comparable '06 would cost. Any chance your insurance has replacement value?? Good luck and let us know how this goes.
