I read once on here someone removing one of their tires. Not sure if that is a good idea. Generally even with a tracking device like a car you really don't want it back if they find it.

Right. If you just remove two wheels from one side they'll just take one off from the other side and put it back on and tow it with two wheels. They're only going to pull it once and then it will probably be a meth lab. You won't want it back. Hope the insurance comes through. Most RV policies have pretty good coverage for the contents too.
