I do for a couple reasons:
1. The lock only sets if the door is properly closed. So, by locking the door, I KNOW the door is really closed.
2. Locking the doors on any vehicle I'm driving prevents potential carjackers or thieves doing a "grab and go" at a stoplight, etc.
3. I have the dogs with me and don't want someone opening my door and letting them loose.
