Naw, it's just that people lump all TCs together. The jack issue could be solved by just saying you can’t unload.
I don’t buy that a TC can’t be moved either by a tractor either. If it is truly an “emergency” who cares if it is damaged or not. More likely an imaginary event. :D. Again, I’m fine with excluding TCs if you want, but don’t try to make up excuses. To me, it’s like a friend who said the only real RVs were Class As.
As far as wind goes, my TC has ridden out 80 mph winds on the jack legs. 4000 lbs in a short length is very heavy compared to surface area. That includes virtually any travel trailer, for sure.
