Having seen that on the website and read about it at least 100 times over the years on boards, I often wonder the real reason. Bay Bridge Campground is less than 4 miles away as the crow flies, but it does not have bear activity? Possibly the Yellowstone Brownies don't have the free ranging habits of others in the tens of square miles.
I suspect it has more to do with the place being called "RV Park" and being operated by a Concessionaire.
