Who wants "luck" with a spare tire and risk a blowout & expensive repairs or family safety? Heat is the major killer of tires and spares are sitting there exposed to the elements. UV rays (if no tire cover) and ozone also damages tires. Visual appearance should never be used as a deciding factor. The best info. will be from a tire manufacturer or a tire engineer. RVtiresafety.net is a blog run by a retired tire engineer, ex-racer and avid RV-er and has tons of excellent info. including tire aging and life expectancy.
Without question, unless newer than what's currently on the axles, replace the spare along with the other 4 (or 2). I'm replacing all 5 of our tires at the end of next season after 5 years of use. It's just part of the cost of owning and operating an RV.
