Spare TT keys
I would like to get a few extra sets of keys to our TT for backup, emergency purposes. Where would be the best place to go? Camping World? Locksmith? Lowes? Dealer?

Most compartment doors are key'd alike. But entry doors are another story.
Every dealer and service center has master keys for the entry doors and you can bet lots of other people also have them.
The door entry keys are coded 301 to 351. That is 50 possible different keys-how many entry doors are there?- I went to the local hardware for an extra set. They are a little sticky but work.
We hide them in my DWs purse where no one can find them.

The slam latches are all keyed alike, but your dead bolt is one of about 30-40 key codes.

Ditto on the numbers on the keys. I always check online first....usually right there and at a better $ than the dealer. Extras?? One for DH, one for me, one for DS#1, extras at home. Wouldn't do us any good to store one in the truck since all the TT keys are on the same keyring.
sort of an inexpensive, readily available item to mess with online sources, especially if they charge shipping.

Actually ordering online is easy and cheap. And in my case, since both keys were MIA, the websites clued me it to a tip. You can take apart the lock and find the number key it takes. Really simple to do.- I just leave mine unlocked. :B

I usually leave mine unlocked too. The parks around here are quite safe. Plus, they would do more dollars worth of damage breaking in then the dollar amount of the cheap wall mart TV. There is nothing else inside worth stealing.- I go to a locksmith, because ever since the big box stores put small hardwares out of business, I'm gone to end up at the locksmith for one or two keys anyway. Places like Home Depot or Lowes will have only "high volume" blanks and the clerk may be a bit light on cutting and finishing skills.
- I keep spares on my dogs collar. If I'm outside-the dog is with me. So, therefore- I have a spare.

RV Keys
Been needing spare rv keys forever (especially the FIC HF keys), and...just never got around to it.
Took advantage of Anaro's legwork, ordered 2 spare HF3xx keys, 2 CH 751's, and...problem fixed. Came today. Cost was about $20 for the 4 keys (keys were $10 for the 4, but it was $10 for shipping). But...I'm ok with that- didn't have to run around town trying to track anything down. - probably could have gotten some 751s for free or postage.
