Thanks for the feedback SoundGuy - this is going to be an overnight trip so we're trying to keep it simple. Heating up canned stew will be ok in the tent camper and after reading about the splatter, I will be precooking our bacon at home for a one pot breakfast meal. In the future, when we take two night trips, then we'll be cooking outside.
