Spray In Bed Liner-Line-X vs Qwik Liner?

Leaning toward the Line-x, with uv protection, but the Qwik liner has only 1 choice w/ uv protection. The Qwik liner is a little softer than the Line-x, but not as "soft" as a Rhino liner. Per the "Sales pitch"! Lol

Main concern is dealer support after the sale.

Any feedback on the Qwik liner, or go with the tried & proven Line-X?

TY!
Chris
  • I'm glad to see you decided on Line-x. I really researched all the spray on's a few years back as I was looking at an additional business venture. Although we mutually decided Line-x would not make it in the location that I wanted to put it,I certainly learned that they have the best product and business model by far.

I put the Line-x premium in my current truck about 16 months ago and it still looks like it was sprayed yesterday. As strange as it may sound, I have intentionally mistreated the liner by scooting pallets, letting concrete dry, let paint dry and it has always come clean with a pressure sprayer. I'll never have anything else.
  • Really the only thing that can go wrong is the installer does not scuff the bed correctly and it peels off. Not sure what coverage there is for fading if any here is there Warranty statement:

    NATIONWIDE LIFETIME WARRANTY

Every LINE-X Spray-On Truck Bedliner comes standard with a Nationwide Lifetime Warranty that's valid at any of our 400+ LINE-X locations. A LINE-X Spray-On Truck Bedliner is guaranteed not to crack, bubble, or flake for as long as you own your truck. So, no matter how tough the daily wear and tear you put your bedliner through, LINE-X has you covered. Here is there Warranty statement.

In the unlikely event that the LINE-X Spray-On Truck Bedliner does crack, bubble or flake, simply take the vehicle, Warranty Certificate and original receipt to the LINE-X Franchise that applied the bedliner for a full repair at no cost to you. If you are a considerable distance away from the original Franchise, you can visit any LINE-X location across the country.

"At LINE-X we believe in protecting our customers with both our products and our service. When customers buy a LINE-X bedliner, they know it's fully backed by the LINE-X Corporation and their local LINE-X franchise."
    - Kevin Heronimus, LINE-X CEO

Notice that no where does it say it's covered for fading or gouging just cracking, bubbling and flaking all of which would be from improper installation. With that the only time I gouged my Line-X was when I was loading a tiller and didn't notice the tines were turning and no stupid is not covered. :S

Still think it's the best game out there and here is why CLICK HERE

Seems to me that I could just as easily wash it out and apply Armor All if I wanted it to look pretty.

Please don't use Armor All on a sprayed on bed liner. You will bust your keester in short order and it takes a long time to wear off!
  • I won't, I don't give a darn if it looks pretty or not. I bought the truck to use as a truck. I can't really see the LineX under the majority of mud and wood chips back there now!!
  • I went with Line-X Premium and DID have to go back for service. I would go with Line-X Premium again.

    Here is why...

I was picking up a pallet of tile for my mother-in-law at Menard's (a Midwest chain similar to Home Depot and Lowes) and the kid loading it with the forklift punctured the bed with one of the forks and went all the way down through the Line-X and through the factory paint on the bed.

The tear was about an inch long and about a half-inch wide. I took the truck back to the Line-X dealer and they filled it in and completely re-sprayed the bed and covered it under warranty.

Now, I could have gone to Menard's and fought with them for the money to repair it, but the Line-X dealer fixed it and sent me on my way with no questions asked.

We tow a travel trailer and we tailgate for 10+ NFL games per year. We throw wood, chairs, tools, canopies, grills, and bikes in that bed and have never had a problem.

Every truck I own in the future will have a Line-X liner.
  • Line-X is the best choice. Had it on my 2005 F250, great job. Faded a bit after 6 years, but still good. On the 2011 F150, they sprayed it, in 3 weeks it bubbled all over and they had to remove it and re-spray. Its been 2+ years now, looks like it was sprayed yesterday. Tough stuff.
  • Update!

Had the Line-X installed this past Tiue (dropped the truck off Mon night), and it looks GREAT!!! A big Thank You to Line-X Grand Blanc, Mi!!!!!

TY again to all the replies and feedback!
