spray on liner

We bought our 2000 f250 when it was 2 years old and the inside of the bed was scratched and dinged up and a dent in the wheel well.
The dealer we bought it from had Toro Liner sprayed in to hide the damage and it still looks good today.
We have touched up a couple small rips on the tailgate and on the floor.
Our 2015 didn't have a factory bed liner and the dealer took it to a Line-Ex installer and had it sprayed and baked and we have the lifetime warrantee on it.
We were very impressed by the quality of the work and it seems very hard.
It is slicker than the softer one we have on the older truck.But things slide around on it just like they would on a painted bed surface. on the older truck things did not want to slide around even when you tried to push or pull things in or out of the bed.
We keep a bed mat in it to keep things from sliding and it also keeps the hitch pucks from getting knocked off.
We bought some bedliner in gal cans and brushed it on around the lower sides in a a stock trailer. That was 11 years ago and it still is rust free and looks good .Believe me cattle abuse the floor and sides of a trailer both physically and chemically and that stuff has held up against their abuse..

I just picked my Ram 3500 up from the dealer this evening as I had to take it back to get the steps and bed liner sprayed in. (Bought it Friday) My 2011 Ram 2500 had the standard Ram steps, but I didn't like that they didn't help in getting into the front of the bed, so this time I had them install the wheel to wheel steps. So far they seem like a worthwhile addition.

Regarding the bedliner, the rhino liner stuff is pretty much the same as the linex now at many shops. What they use tends to depend on the equipment they have to spray it. My preference is the harder Linex spray in. I've got to say this dealer did a much better job of application that my last one and the finished product looks really good.

Another vote for linex. Ours came with a lifetime warranty including touch ups which is important as we beat the daylights out of ours for work hauling construction materials. Fork lifts and crappy pallets aren't too friendly.

Line-X 5 1/2 years outside in all kinds of weather still looks as good as new. Well, it could use a wash.

Another vote for Linex. Anybody scoring this?

It was the Ionic Railway Step Bars we had on our last truck. As I mentioned, I would either do a diy bed liner on the steel brackets, or have them sprayed when you have your truck bed LineX'd!!! Shouldn't be but a small amount more. Sometimes the "extra liner" in the gun and hose may be enough to cover the brackets when "clearing" the hose out....

Line-X on my 2500 HD....since 2009.

Used in Alaska and Texas. After year 2, it got a cap, but still carries bricks, dirt, engines and parts, dead critters, lumber, etc ad infinitum.

Other than being dirty all the time, it's hard to tell that there was any wear on it.

Pretty happy with the Line-X.

My last truck wore Line-X for 10 years without any problems. The bed was mostly covered out of the elements, but would haul plenty of items that would wear away paint due to sharp edges and heavy weight.

I've had Rhino in my last two trucks, ten years on the first one, four on the current truck. Haven't had any problems with it but they haven't got a lot of really heavy use. Both trucks were done when new. Just like a paint job or any spray on coating, preparation and who is doing it means everything.

I have seen some good prices on just a basic set. don't need anything to special. wife is just shorter than I.
