- AlschottExplorerRobins were out and about last week in central Connecticut, however they must have found a warmer spot this weekend with the temperatures going down below -10F(-23C). Chickadees have taken over their spots for the weekend.
We have a family of swans in a pond near my work, they vacated for warmer waters too. Darn groundhogs - so unreliable when it comes to weather. - bka0721Explorer IIDown here in the southern Mojave, today, photographing the Lizards I have been tracking. Waiting for the Utah Desert to warm up before moving north. High 80s this week, here.
b - towproExplorerDan, the robins came through here in Compass PA on 2/1. I had a flock of around 15 out back that day.
This time of year the robin and bluebird are hear eating the berry's off the mile-a-minute weed that has been taking over last couple years.
Its close. Trout season on our side of PA opens 4/2. I will be moving my other RV to my private campground around Shippinsburg in 4 to 5 weeks :) - DWeikertExplorer II

in SE PA this weekend is supposed to be the coldest weather of the year yet with lows at 0F. But the groundhog said "spring is near"
Until I see a robin, I'm not buying it. Right now I'm just waiting to see my lawn. - JfetExplorer

We had spring here in Forks WA. today 70 degrees. Supposed to be raining cats and dogs again in the next day or so. Back to winter.

The WA coast was so nice. We took our camper to the Quinalt casino and stayed Sunday through Wed. Road motorcycles on the beach and just enjoyed the 68 degree days in Feb. - towproExplorerin SE PA this weekend is supposed to be the coldest weather of the year yet with lows at 0F. John - finaddictExplorerCrocuses and daffodils about a foot out of the ground here. Should be blooming in another week. Lawn cutting should happen in about 3 weeks.
- Kayteg1Explorer III am NO CA transplant from harsh 4-seasons. We don't need rain in Bay Area - we need snow in Sierra to fill upper reservoirs.
I don't mind paying higher water prices in order to not deal with mud, houses sliding down the hills and additional car accidents.
Sun is up and I have to put new roof vents. Hope will not get too much sunburn. ;) - RaftenExplorerIt will be 70f today here in NorCal, our hopes are that it gets colder again because we really need more rain/snow to fill the water supply lakes. However since we are camping let the sun shine two more days.
