If we're lucky, we just might see a Hellcat Grand Cherokee. But they might de-rate or take away its tow rating all together :(
Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think there's ever been an OEM supercharged engine rated for towing. Save for 2 stroke Detroit Diesels, which aren't really "supercharged"...
The SRT Grand Cherokee was not rated for towing. In fact, the SRT Cherokee had the exhaust pipes moved to the center of the rear bumper, ostensibly to make sure you couldn't even attach an aftermarket hitch.
The current SRT GC moved the tail pipes to the corners, and is rated to tow 5000 pounds. I have been thinking about it to tow the boat around, but I need to wait another year to let someone else take the majority of the depreciation.
Fish, maybe you could wait to see if Hellcat goes into the GC, and convince your wife to pick that up instead of the EcoDiesel.
And, regarding the quarter, the numbers I have seen (at least for the Challenger) are 10.8 quarter with street legal tires. And I am admittedly biased, but I think the Challenger would make a better overall DD than the GT-R.
Black key fob is 500 HP. Valet's will love that!
She can't stay off the curbs now... I could only imagine what I would say when I would see she scuffed up the rims. :M- Bionic_ManExplorer

I really like the Challenger myself. However, the Nissan GTR is faster with less HP and smaller engine.
I must correct you. The Hellcat does the 1/4 in the low 10's...quite a bit quicker than the Nissan....which is around 10.8, 10.9 seconds. - LessmoreExplorer II707 HP....with the Red fob ignition key. But the black fob key down rates the engine power significantly. It's called the valet key and the one you give to your 16 year old son.
The HP to weight ratio with the red fob, must be tremendous and I understand the 1/4 mile time is in the low 10's @ over 120 mph. Think that's with drag radials.
Now that's performance.
BTW, got my info from Hot Rod magazine. - mileshuffExplorerI really like the Challenger myself. However, the Nissan GTR is faster with less HP and smaller engine.

Ford F150 Lightning had a 5,000 lb towing capacity and 800 lb payload. Not much, but something.
