06Fargo... honestly, I couldn't tell you never had much use for a dually, wheels tend to fall off them on oilfield roads/trails. As for the hand shaker would love to have one, but, when I was working oilfields had too many short hops, a lot of stop and goes...afraid I would have worn out a clutch or two.
Not much danger in wearing out the clutch if using the proper gear starting out. If I am driving solo I almost always start out in 2nd unless I'm on a really steep hill. If I have the trailer on I always start out in 1st to go easy on the clutch, but it isn't long and the truck is begging for 2nd! Like I said before, I believe it takes a manual transmission to make one really appreciate the low end torque the Cummins really has!
