Stabilizer jacks

I have Lippert electric stabilizer jacks on my travel trailer. Having trouble with one. It extends okay but has a hard time retracting. Sounds normal when extending but grinds and grates when retracting. Hopefully will not have to replace the whole unit. Pretty expensive.

    A long shot, but try e-trailer.com if you need replacement. They have excellent tech support. Helped me quite a bit when I was trying to locate breaks for my 5th wheel. As far as your jacks go. I have pneumatic jacks that I lubricate with silicone. It could be the extender needs lubrication somewhere in the joints.
