Standard vs long bed
I'm looking to purchase a truck that will eventually be needed to pull a 5'er and would prefer to get a standard length bed (6'4") for reasons I won't go into here, but wanted the forum's opinion abou...

where did you get that info? my short box 2012 F250 has the same gas tank as long bed. Maybe different on a rattler.
The Standard bed ( short bed to some of us ) crew cab 2012 F-250 26 gallons Diesel
The long bed ( still called a long bed ) crew cab 2012 F-250 37.5 gallons Diesel
The standard compared to the long bed don't have the same fuel capacity ,not sure they ever did. My 99 was less on the standard bed ( short bed ) Now I am talking diesel not gas
The gas trucks both the standard ,and long bed are 35 gallons.
