First twuck I bought had a std 8' bed. Every one since is a std 8' bed. It would be WONDERFULL to have a pickup with a LONG bed....10' or so. One can then put a cross bed tool box, and still have room for a 4x8' sheet of plywood IN the bed, along with a trailer hooked up.......To do that without a flat bed would be nice!
Oh, anything less than 8' is a short bed! I still remember back to 81 a year out of HS and buying my first twuck. Even had a whopping 105hp 292 I6 in it! now if it does not have 300-400+ ponies, people think it is a weak motor!

Did you really say "twuck" ? Twice? Hahahaha
Ram actually did a concept lonh bed truck a few years ago. Never seen it in production.
I think the mfgs would sell a schitt ton of 10' bed trucks for commercial use.
I run out of bed space pretty quick in my work trucks. Be nice to have a slip tank, big tool box AND some bed space leftover.
Otherwise 3 pages of what's the diff between a short and long bed truck. This place never ceases to amaze...
You do know that you can buy truck beds that you can have all that don't you? I have 100 gallon off road tank, 50' hose reel, welder, air compressor with 50' air hose reel, 15' ladder rack and enough tools to service heavy equipment in the field and I have all kinds of bed space left in my F350. I even pull a goose neck trailer on occasion.;)
