Your Expy has a front bench seat and you cram everyone in 2 rows? I quite frankly do not believe that. But, you are willing to do this for 60+ hours of drive time each way? 3+3 seating for 60+ hours drive time means people are sleeping, leaning on each other, kicking each other. What happens when the person in the front middle falls asleep and leans on the driver's arm or kicks the driver's feet? Everyone in the cab can touch everyone else.
Towing an RV will allow you to put stuff in that, and not need the cargo space where the 3rd row of seats are. Use the TV for people space, and space for their activities to keep them occupied for any amount of time. A 3/4 ton SUV like mine or older generation or Excursion is what I recommend. If you want to save money, get a 12 or 15 passenger van. Take out the last 1-2 benches and put down a tarp for all the dirty things you want to bring.
