I think it's awesome for the "never too much hp" folks. It's like a new and improved muscle car era.
BTW, the '14 Ram with the major upgrades to the chassis in '12 and now 850 tq and air ride is the only one I've seen really peak my interest over my old truck. Cool, about 6 more years and maybe I can give my 07 to the boy for his 16th birthday and pick up a nice '14 or '15 model!!
I don't think the transmission can handle more power than the pickups are making now. Even now, there is more power than the clutch and manual transmission can handle.
