steens mt oregon
Has anyone visited Steens Mt in Oregon southeast corner? How about Fish Lake in Steens mt? Camping there?

clickStayed here for a week in late may 2010, Resturant, tavern, gas station, RV park in one entity on Hwy 78 south of Burns. Was a great place to operate out of to tour the Steens MT area. Stopped @ a BLM rest area on the east side just in time for a F-16 to blast by going west to east, appeared over the top of the ridge so I guess his altitude was about 9000', it was cool.
