Cry me a river! BooHoo, I have taken mine in twice for recalls. Big whoop.
I am thrilled with the fit, finish, quality and dependability of my 15 with 64k on it.
Cool story.
I like my truck too. Would definitely buy again if in hindsight.
It’s not perfect, though. Not sure why guys like you think certain brands $hit rainbows and can do no wrong. These things are mechanical items and none are perfect. 8 recall items in 4 years is too much.
Again, wouldn’t undo the buy but I can be a little frustrated with some shortcomings. This isn’t Ford 6.0 or 6.4 level stuff, just frustrating.
No SH!TT!N Rainbows here! Bought my 98 12V with 50k from a friend and now my son has it at 400k, great truck. Bought it for the engine but as time passed the truck it's self was simply GREAT.
11 HO DRW towed 28-29k over 1/2 it's life traded on current 15 at 65k, ZERO issues. Had one front end part replaced by recall, BooHoo.
Bought a one owner 98 12V 5 speed at 313k, awesome truck a friends Son owns it now at 400k.
2001 01 Sport only owned it for a few months last Summer bought from original owner at 123k so far a rock solid truck completely unmolested.
Current 15 DRW 64k only non recall items were overhead console light was replaced under warranty. Trans or transfer case seal small leak, don't know what one as they just replaced both while they were in there. Also oil leak at timing cover to pan. Gave me a nice new Chrysler 300 to drive while being fixed.
5 RAM's that I have personally driven at least 560k combined. Never left along side of the road, well twice because I thought I could make it to the NEXT Station!
YEP, Rainbows :B
