A couple of appropriately sized Fenco couplings, split to get them on the drag link and clamped on the nut and sleeve should hold the “properly” torqued nuts in place. Might still be considered hack but at least it’s reversible for adjustment.
Most of them that become loose will become loose again after retorquing. I'm not sure why a Loctite product wouldn't be part of the fix if you clean the threads real good before application.
