I disagree on this. These are legitimate safety issues. Do you actually think the auto manufacturers are initiating a recall campaign for something the consumer would have zero knowledge of just to highlight their caring for their customers.
Or do you think maybe if a manufacturer never did a recall that would be a better customer relation advertisement.
Nobody is highlighting their JD Powers most recalls in segment award.
