Good question turtle. I am running the stock wheels and tires.
Scott you use the word "great". I have seen people become so used to worn out steering they don't realize how bad it is. A friend with this same truck thought his truck handled just fine too. Two days after getting home from a 3000 mile trip pulling a 26 foot cargo trailer the passanger side tie rod dropped out as he was backing out of his garage. The truck lurched against the door frame and the rod punctured through his rim.
Our local dealer never puts the original style/type tie rods in these trucks. They always do the "09 upgrade".
