That is bothersome as we conclude that if the stabilizer were installed then that stress would be forced back into the box/frame of the truck.
Did you have the tires off the ground when you did this test or the drag link disconnected? Is the run out in the box or the extender. I have had Darin's Steering Stabilizer on you 2001 for around 12 years without a problem. Chris
