We had the tires off the ground and we were taking the reading from the bottom end of the extender. We just assumed it was the extender. I no longer have the dial gauge here and have regretted not taking a reading on the shaft at the box. Will do that before putting on the stabilizer for sure. It is hard to believe that the pitman shaft would be at fault...but then again....
