Truck and trailer
That's a great looking truck and trailer. And I am not trying to be argumentative, but we hear all the time about folks making judgements on the validity of a setup by "how it looks". That may work for some folks, but I have found that "numbers" speak more clearly to me, and the scale is where I get my numbers.
Sorry Wes, when I mis-quoted the OP when I said "heavy" on the steering. By "dull" I was envisioning a heavy or sluggish feel. The other extreme of that, when the front is too light, I would likely use the words "light" or "floaty". Not very technical in description, for sure.
Here is a slightly related experience I had with my camper. As delivered, with load range C ST tires, and P metrics on the truck, I had a "wishy-washy" feeling at the back of the truck ( how's that for a tech description ? ) :B
when towing at highway speeds. I "thought" it was rear truck tire sidewall flex. That is what it felt like. When I pulled off the camper tires and replaced them with load range D LT tires, the problem disappeared. So what I had thought was one thing, turned out to be something else.
