If you find your options too limited you could offset a lot of the cost of a heavier truck with the value of your current truck. It's not like you're driving around a 15 year old beater that's not worth anything. Just food for thought. Limiting yourself to lightweight trailers or short local trips negates a lot of the value you get from having a camper to begin with, imo.
