I think of the thousands of miles we've put on our fifth wheel in Yukon & Alaska, the thousands we also put on the Class C when we had it, and now the thousands of miles we're looking forward to completing with the truck camper. A winter/March trip up the Dempster Hwy to Inuvik is on the bucket list.
Haven't had much damage to anything, but then we mosey along at our own pace which is usually much slower than the posted speed limit. We also spend much time in the backcountry meandering down gravel roads. The truck camper will get us down goat trails now.
If one spends most of their nights in commercial RV parks, they're missing the best of Yukon & Alaska.
Now that we live here, it is wonderfully easy to head out for just a night. Like this recent trip along the Haines Highway
