What made you go with a single axle? My experience with them is that they get squirrelly out on the hwy and fishtale a lot-even when loaded down.
I ask only because I may be in the market for one.
I pulled a 12' single axle trailer for work for about 2 years and didn't have really any issues with sway going under 70mph, anything over and it felt usafe. I plan on using it locally so hopefully no issues.
The 2 main reasons for the single axle was cost and tire maintenance. I paid cash for the trailer and wanted to only spend 3k...with windows and tax I spent 3.6k. The double axle version would have been about 5k but also 14ft long.
The single axle also limits my weight as I am already over my GVWR. It is really as big as I wanted to go, but if I had more GVWR and more pennies I would have gone bigger :)
