Someone need my tuner more than me apparently and took it of my regretfully unlocked truck.
My question is I have the fuel saver mode currently down loaded into the truck. Do you think it would hurt anything to tow our travel trailer while it is in fuel saver mode? - ulvikExplorer

You can use it, but I will tow crappy. Another thing to ask is, did you backup your OE vin to your computer? If not you will have some issues. You may be able to have the dealer flash the PCM with the latest update to get you back to stock! Good luck. I towed with mine in economy once and it performed terrible.
You are correct even if I buy another tuner for $400 I first have to take it to the dealer to flash the computer back to stock ($145) before I can even install the new tuner. The good thing is your programmer is probably vin-locked and the low life cant do anything with it.
Very true it is of absolutely no use to anyone else. Just some idiot looking to steal anything. - ulvikExplorer

Yes - ScottGNomadThe good thing is your programmer is probably vin-locked and the low life cant do anything with it.
- kw_00ExplorerJust performance will be less, but should have no issues. Contact the company and tell them what happened. I don't know how your tune is, but with Blackbear performance live my tune was emailed to me and I used the scanner. I know your scanner is gone, but wonder if you have Eli live tune. If you do and the file is saved then hopefully the company can get u another scanner to reinstall another tune. My tuner is only locked in for one truck, unless u pay more. Fuel tune just uses TQ management more and slows the timing of the engine down as well.
- Grit_dogNavigatorNo it won't. Gasser tuners don't do a lot anyway. Likely the tune pulled a little timing and fuel and maybe shortende up the shifts. Will be like having a slightly underpowered version of your truck, if you even notice it at all.
