Storage Ideas

I have just recently gravelled an area of my back yard for storing/parking our TT. It is ugly! Any one have any ideas for dressing the area up. What have you done around to make your parking spots look less like parking spots?

Don't you hate it when a parking spot looks like a parking spot? :h

    Welcome to the forum. :B

My entire 275 feet long driveway is gravel. Looks about the same from street to garage. I'm okay with it.

Great idea, that must have cost a couple bucks! :B
  • Since I live on the back side of a 20 acre corn field I am not bothered by neighbors.

My trailer is parked where my wife thinks it should be.:B
  • Sorry, I haven't posted pics here in a while. I thought I might have found my mistake, but no.

I'm getting closer. :) Hey that new posting link works really good. Thanks.

Carried the landscape timbers from the garden around the parking area. behind them is a row of pavers to keep the trailer clean. Only went 1 layer high so I can easily back over them to put trailer away.

Looks like I didn't get the upload right. Sorry.

Any thoughts on what I did wrong appreciated.
  • In our last house the RV pad was across the back of the lot. Planted a hedge along the edge between the pad and the yard with an opening in the hedge that lined up with the RV door.

It looked good even if we did have to transplant the 'doorway' in the hedge when we bought a different TT :o .

We built this 'water feature' next to our parking spot to make it look less like a parking spot...:)

  • We cut in the sides of our gravel driveway with bricks. It makes it look much more professional in our (read: Wife's) opinion. It also helps contain the gravel during the rain.
