The jack always has the same amount of stress on it for the most part, no matter the angle.
Its designed to hold up the front of the trailer.
Like dodge guy said in the above post. "so unless someone runs into it or there is a tornado coming, it shouldn't bend"
Plus, if your wheels are chocked correctly, it shouldn't roll. Thus causing the tube in the tongue jack to bend.
