Storing your "stinky slinky"

What do you all use to hold your dump hose(s) between uses? I've just been keeping it in the original cardboard box, lined with a garbage bag. But I'm wondering if something like a shallow Rubbermaid tote would work nicer. Being a TT, the storage area is under the bed and shared with other items.
