If he is a plumber you can find he probably has pipe straps and hangars. That works to mount to the frame. I put a Harbor Fright tongue box on the front to protect my batteries from thieves, and I just bolted the pipe to the back of the box with nuts and bolts that were long enough to penetrate the box and not stick out too much in the pipe. My trailer has a curved front, so there was a gap at the bottom of the battery box and the trailer wall just large enough for the pipe. I could add a smaller diameter one above it for something else, but have not figured out what I would use it for.
I don't lock the pipe caps, I figured people would think the stinky slinky is in there and they won't touch it.
