Replaced mine in Oct 2015. Took it off and scrapped all the old sealant off the camper. Next, I scuffed up (with 200 grit sandpaper) the new vent, put a coat of primer on it and followed that with some white enamel. Next, I applied new DICOR all around the entire opening and attach points on the camper and reinstalled. Put some blue tape around the vent opening to catch the DICOR as you tighten the vent to the camper. Pretty happy with it. Take a look....what a difference!
