No one can answer that for you. You'll have to get some one to watch while you "slowly" try it. I stood on the rear ladder once, checking the clearance at a RR tunnel on a back road (had a grass strip between the tire tracks).
Some times doors hang a bit lower than the opening. Maybe you could raise the upper limit. We don't know what kind of trim you have around the door but it's a area that might lend it's self to modifications.
