You turn on the inside lights and then turn them off using that switch. It allows you to turn the lights on as you enter.
Our switch controls the inside ceiling mounted lights in the main room. The switch at the individual light has to be "on."
My SIL just had this issue. She asked for help fixing the trailer lights as she had never had any problems with them. There were 3 dual light fixtures on the ceiling in the main area. Each has a switch, but none would come on. We checked fuses and battery and then found the switch near the porch light switch... seems you might have this also?
Leave it off and figure out what does not work... maybe a hidden fan for refrigerator coils? Maybe the antenna booster? Maybe the ice maker?
