I can only comment upon experience with the Chev/GMC 6.0 gas job. I can say they will pull your needs, and like with any gas job you have to understand you will hear the RPMS, but I can say the chev/gmc 6.0 might be your most reliable trouble free option. At my work we have 5 of the 6.0s and all have been extremely reliable tough work trucks. 7 of the months they are towing trailers nearly every single day, and the other months of the year they have snow plows hooked to them plowing snow. My work practices something I like to call "breakdown maintenance" and in others words we simply change the oil, air filter, grease and go (and that the only maintenance done lol), and all the trucks are still performing extremely well. These trucks are beat, pull heavy loads, get trashed with salt, and are still holding up. oldest is a 2003 and newest is a 2013. Most expensive repair has been one transmission and other than that, one alternator, and brakes. Good luck with your decision!
