I think the OP has stated in the past 5 pages that: 1) they were looking for an early 2000's 'burb or the others; and 2) that they had a different primary daily driver.
I had a 2002 2500 Burb with the 6.0 and towed a 8,000# trailer for 3 years. I was not happy with the towing performance. Didn't and don't care about mileage but it wasn't very good either. I upgraded the rear axle to the 4.1's and that helped a bit, but I still didn't like the towing performance in the Texas Hill Country and in the hills of Oklahoma and Arkansas. Never went to the Rockies and never would have with that setup.
I'd strongly recommend not going to the 6.0.
