I had a 2000 7.3 PSD 4x4 Excursion and 2003 6.0 PSD 4x4 Excursion and only used 4x4 a few times in all the years so it's not worth the cost IMHO. I sold the 2003 6.0 in late 2007 before I had any engine issues and was the last time diesel was cheaper than reg unl gas. The van has twice the storage space and double the payload of the Excursion.
