Well.... what a day.. for sure...
We left this morning to go check out the Excursions and the HD pickup. Jumped in the Kia and headed to town.
On the way over we got to talking about the Kia and how much we really enjoyed the Chrysler Town and Country we had as a rental car while the Kia was getting fixed. We said, ya know the Chrysler dealer is just about a block or so from where we are headed. Lets go check them out.
So... Few hours later... we are the proud owners of a New 2014 Chrysler Town and Country... While its not an Excursion or a Suburban its the most luxurious vehicle we have ever owned. It has Leather, Navigation, Back Up camera, Stow and Go seating... and 3600 lbs towing capacity (ahh yeah, finally some capacity)...
I have to adjust my RV'ing expectations and understand that we will be in a large sized pop up now instead of a large TT... That is really Okay with us. This 285 HP Pentastar V6 gets 25 mpg (we will see about that) and is very powerful.
So, I did accomplish a goal today.. My family is much more comfortable than when we were in the Kia. We also have room to take friends with us. Oh and good for the family budget... the payment is $16.00 different than the Kia.
I'm sorry about asking about the 3/4 ton. It just didn't work out for our family, but we feel very happy about this move.
Here is a pic of the beauty

Thanks!
Jeremiah
