Congrats !!!!
I have a 2000 Odyssey and buddy's family has/had over 5 T&C's
Both have a weakness with their automatic tranny's and assume more so if you tow
heavy (their listed MTWR)
Over at the Odyssey forums...they all advise to put in a ATF filter. Some advise
an external ATF cooler for towing. I don't tow with mine, so just noodling that
Bought mine used and had the ATF flushed at 130,000 miles...am now a believer in
NOT flushing ATF if it has never been before. Mine started to shift
'funny' a couple hundred miles after that flush and had it rebuilt
When the tires wear out, consider staying with 'P' class, but look for the
same sizes that are used on CUV's. They have a higher weight rating...again
same size. Did noodle 'LT' but on this vehicle truly over kill...even
with my driving style
Mine came with a U-Haul receiver (1.25"). Brother's Odyssey has the 2" receiver
Your choice, but note that there are more stuff in the 2" size.
Also, I like to drive HARD, so the fronts must be aired up to max sidewall.
They wear out the outer tread rib if not up to max. Ditto buddies T&C's
